Access changes what becomes possible.
The Access Exchange · Houston, Texas
The right conversation can change how someone sees an industry. The right person can open a world they didn't know existed. The right piece of knowledge can shorten years of trial and error.
The Access Exchange exists to help more of those connections happen.
We create access to the experience and perspective that are often hardest to reach - what leaders have learned, how they think, the decisions that shaped them, the relationships that mattered, the opportunities they recognized, and the lessons worth passing forward.
Almost none of that is written down. It is held by the people who lived it, and it usually reaches whoever already happens to know them. That is not a talent problem on either side. It is a proximity problem, and proximity is something you can deliberately build.
So we build it in several directions at once. Through the Interview Series, university and institutional engagements, corporate partnerships, live experiences, professional coaching, and coach training and certification, we create different ways for people to learn directly from experience, engage with the right people, gain useful perspective, and turn access into meaningful progress.
At its core, The Access Exchange brings people, knowledge and opportunity closer together - creating environments, experiences and guidance that help those connections make a difference.

Experience should not disappear inside the people who earned it.
We create places for knowledge, perspective and lived experience to move - from leaders to audiences, industry to campus, one generation to another, and from insight to individualized guidance.
-
01From leaders to audiencesIn-depth interviews, published in full, with the standout ideas written up alongside them so the thinking travels further than the conversation.
-
02From industry to campusLeadership talks, moderated discussions and industry sessions that put students in the room with people who have lived the decisions.
-
03From one generation to anotherLive experiences built so the conversation carries on in the room after the stage has emptied.
-
04From insight to individual guidanceCoaching, so that what someone now understands turns into what they actually do next.

Who is behind it
Akosua Nsowah
Akosua Nsowah is a senior enterprise risk, cybersecurity and technology leader with more than a decade of experience navigating complex, high-stakes business environments across global consulting, financial services, government and major corporations.
Her career has placed her at the center of consequential enterprise initiatives - from cloud security and privacy to major acquisitions, large-scale ERP transformations, structured finance and enterprise risk. Across these environments, she has worked at the intersection of technology, finance, governance and transformation, helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen decision-making and manage risk when the stakes are significant.
That vantage point also shaped her understanding of something beyond business: access changes trajectories. The right conversation, relationship, insight or introduction can alter what someone knows, where they are invited and what becomes possible.
Akosua founded The Access Exchange to bring more of that access within reach - creating a platform where accomplished leaders, institutions and emerging talent exchange the knowledge, perspective and relationships that rarely exist in textbooks or traditional career pathways.
She holds an M.Eng. in Cybersecurity from The George Washington University and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston, along with the CISA, CDPSE and CCRP credentials. Her professional experience includes EY, Tokio Marine HCC, Freddie Mac and the U.S. Department of State.
She brings to The Access Exchange the same rigor, judgment and institutional credibility that have defined her career.
